LAUNCH // Historical Discourses – Volume XXX.I

Where: Arts 160
Historical Discourses is an annual open-accessed peer-reviewed undergraduate academic journal based out of McGill University. It serves as a scholarly forum for undergraduate students at McGill to critically engage with a range of intellectual and public debates through historical inquiry.
Join us on April 8th at 6pm at ARTS 160 ((swanky)) for a wine and cheese to celebrate the launch of volume XXX.I of Historical Discourses! Meet the editors, authors, and students who have made publication possible, and pick up a FREE copy of the journal!!
**** We’ve had to split this volume into two issues, so stay tuned for volume XXX.II (publication expected at the end of the summer/early fall 2016)

Summer Research Fellowship Opportunity
The Museum of Jewish Montreal—a not-for-profit organization that collects, maps, and shares the history of Canada’s oldest Jewish community—is seeking qualified students to participate in our summer Research Fellowship program. Beginning May 24th and running through August 15th , the program is designed to help university students interested in pursuing museum careers acquire the skills they will need to work successfully in the cultural and heritage sectors. Participants will gain professional experience in curating exhibits, conducting oral history research, and leading guided tours around the city in English and/or French.
