Hey  History  Student!

This  year,  we’re  looking  for  Members-­‐at-­‐Large  and  a  First  Year  Rep  to  help  us   represent  the  interests  of  history  students  within  the  History  Department.  The  ideal   Member-­‐at-­‐Large  will  be  an  enthusiastic,  hard-­‐working  and  organized  History   student  with  a  passion  for  the  discipline.  Members-­‐at-­‐Large  will  be  responsible  for:

• Sitting  on  a  sub-­‐committee  as  an  Undergraduate  Representative  with  grad   students  and  members  of  the  Faculty  (options  include,  but  are  not  limited  to,   the  Fundraising  and  Outreach  Committee  or  the  Communications  and   Website  Committee)

• Helping  the  HSA  organize  events

• Helping  the  HSA  fundraise  and  hold  bake  sales/samosa  sales

• Being  a  “capital  M”  member  of  the  HSA!

-A  100-­‐150  word  statement  of  interest  detailing  why  you’d  like  to  be  a  part  of   the  HSA  and  what  you  could  bring  to  the  Association!

Put  the  position  you  are  applying  for  (e.g.  “First  Year  Rep”/”Member-­‐at-­‐Large”)  in   the  subject  line.  If  you  are  a  First  Year,  you  can  apply  to  both  a  Member-­‐at-­‐Large   position  and  the  First  Year  Rep  position.
